Kids Clinic and Run (Friday Expo) Sponsored by Fleet Feet & ASICS.
Long-time Maria Carrillo HS Cross Country Coach Greg Fogg will be leading a Kids Running Clinic and Vineyard Run on Friday afternoon.
Greg will offer running instruction and tips, and insights on becoming a runner in your high school and college years. The clinic is intended for children 5 to 12. Add the clinic to your registration. ASICS shirt included.

Fundraising Contest
Use a discount code and
join an existing team from Fleet Feet (Santa Rosa, Menlo Park or Sacramento), or the Steps Foundation and then fundraise for the team for a chance to win great prizes.

Timing / Awards
There will be awards for the following categories. Awards will be announced on the stage immediately after the costume contest at 10:30am. If you miss receiving your award at the ceremony come to the Event Information / Merchandising booth up until closing at 12:30pm. Please note that wine awards cannot be shipped after the event.

  1. Hallowine Half Marathon: Top three men and women overall and top 3 in age groups (Under 21, 21 to 29, 30-39 up to 70+). Team award for fastest team using USATF gender and age handicap system with minimum of 5 runners time averaged.

  2. Two-Person half marathon relay: Top three teams awarded.

  3. Hallowine 5K awards for top 3 men and women overall. Also award for fastest team of 5 or more (USATF handicap system used again)

Costume Contest
Run in costume and enter the post race costume contest! Awards for the following costume categories:

  1. Team

  2. Individual and Duo (2 persons)

  3. Kids (12 and under)

RACE RULES: You must run with a registered bib in your name and wear it so it’s visible on your shirt or shorts. Failure to run with a bib will result in immediate ejection. If you cannot make the race, bib transfers are allowed but must be official and completed on the registration page in advance, or at the expo.

Law enforcement (CHP) officers and course marshal volunteers are positioned on course for your safety. In some instances law enforcement may require runners to stop for safety reasons. ALWAYS stay inside the cones on the roadways as per directional signage and chalk. Straying outside of the defined cone line is dangerous and could result in immediate disqualification.

NO roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, or other wheels on course. Baby strollers designed for runners and Dogs are permitted in the 5K but must begin at the back of the starting line.

Portable music with headphones are allowed but must be kept at low volume so runners can hear approaching traffic and verbal instructions from law enforcement and volunteers. Failure to abide may result in DQ.

Each registration is protected from most event cancellations and reimburses participants in the event of a force Majere cancellation.  As a participant, you may also protect yourself by adding the personal insurance option to your registration CLICK HERE.
